The Abandonment of Israel Accelerates

First, apologies for the long delay between posts. For a time, I felt that there was not much I could say that wasn’t already being said by Joel Rosenberg and others who have large readerships. That has changed. Things are accelerating and I feel led to share my observations and beliefs in more detail, to do what I can to spread the Word as the puzzle pieces of prophecy continue to slide into place. Okay, let’s get started.

Obama's Dismay Over Jerusalem Housing is Disingenuous

For the first time since the rebirth of Israel in May  of 1948, Israel no longer has the support of the United States. That’s the truth, no matter what you hear from the media. Although I’m no prophet, I did indeed see this abandonment coming, and I saw it from the very first moment it became feasible that Obama could win the U.S. presidency. Now it’s here. The row over Israel’s announcement about building apartments is nothing more than an absurd cover story for Obama’s disdain for Israel.

Several days ago, a story broke concerning the shipment of hundreds of bunker-buster bombs to our Diego Garcia base. Speculation was that these bombs, designed to penetrate the ground and destroy underground structures, were being stockpiled in preparation for a U.S. strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. (A pretty silly speculation in this humble opinion.)  In fact, these bombs were en route to Israel, and were ordered diverted by Obama. Then yet another story broke, this time revealing that Obama has blocked all military shipments and transfers to Israel, since he took office. This is a huge story, folks. Huge. (The fact that it has gone completely unreported before now is yet another indicator of the quality of our media, but that aspect is hardly a surprise.)

As always is the case within the context of this blog, the big question is, “How does this information tie into potential prophetic events?” Here are two major effects:

  • It ever more clearly reveals that it is credible that Israel will face her enemies without any earthly support, thus making the War of Gog and Magog immediately feasible. In fact, it’s not just credible that this aloneness could happen. Reality is that it has already happened.
  • Denying Israel access to conventional bunker buster bombs opens up another issue. If she does not have the conventional weapons necessary to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities, that leaves her only the nuclear option.

When I assimilate these developments into what was already known, I believe the scenario outlined below provides a clear and credible path to fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy concerning the War of Gog & Magog. Please pardon my redundancy from earlier posts, but the scenario is much easier to follow when all the points of information are laid out in a clear and somewhat linear fashion.

  • Ahmadinejad fervently believes it is his holy mission to pave the way for the 12th imam by initiating a massive conflagration against Jews and Christians. When he gets nukes, he’ll use them.
  • Israel knows and believes the Iranian threat. They also know that they cannot absorb a nuclear strike. Any nuclear threat to the state of Israel is literally an existential threat. They must take out Iran’s nuclear capability.
  • Without the support of the United States, Israel cannot destroy Iran’s nuclear capability using conventional weapons. This leaves only the option of tactical nukes.
  • KEY POINT: While an Israeli attack on Iran will be one of the most obvious cases of self defense in the history of the world, the world will not treat it as such. The world has never needed an excuse to hate God’s chosen people, and it won’t start now. If Israel uses nuclear weapons, even tactical ones that provide as much of a surgical target elimination as possible, she will become a global pariah overnight.
  • In the aftermath of such an attack on Iran, and with the world universally condemning Israel, no one will lift a finger as the Gog/Magog coalition prepares to exact unholy vengeance upon Israel.

We live in very interesting times, dangerous times, and if you don’t know Christ, I urge you to change that immediately. The clock is ticking.

One piece of information I picked up on last week was that the US Army General claimed Iran is helping AlQuada. It reminded me of sounds I heard before the US attacked Iraq. The military seems to be still running a war on terror even if Obama is not. The US military still sees Iran’s nukes a threat to the US even if Obama does not. The little Iran man threatened to nuke Israel and the US. The military heard that even if the community organizer did not. So I am not as certain as you are that we have abandoned Israel in taking out the little man’s nukes. The community organizer just wants to be THE ONE to decide the timing on attacking Iran and not Israel. He wants to totally dominate the Middle East to force Israel to give up land as he dictates.

Hi Sara, and thanks for the read and the comment. I have zero doubt that our military would love to take care of the Iran threat right now. I just don’t believe Obama has the guts, or even the real desire, to do so. The man reminds me of a junior high football coach thrown in to coach an NFL team, completely out of his depth and doesn’t even know it.

If you are going to continue to post these on our site we are going to have to come to some sort of financial arrangement.

Something on the order of 50.00 per posting will be acceptable.

I added your blog to my blogroll at thelastcause gogmagogblog.

And not to bash FR, but they are a bit archaic.

I believe it was Maggie Thatcher who said you should never abandon a friend to appease an enemy, something that hold more true than even in the 80’s, Obama is a Internationale type and views the Isrealis as oppressors rather than the proper view of Israel as a civilizing force in a utterly uncivilized region.

      Thanks, Ed. What’s thelastcause?

I miss Maggie Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, miss those days.

That blog is more about preparing for the worst of the inflation that is to come, my thought being “consider the ant thou sluggard” more than one’s Bilbical centered writing.

I am in 100% in agreement that abandoning Israel, or worse, pressuring Israel, is a mistake, Scripture reveals that Israel should rely on the Lord and not other countries, however it also says that helping Israel from proper motives blesses both sides of the equation.

Issuing grants in the form of military aid is fine, and Scriputural, then demanding concessions from Israel in return is NOT Scriptural.
